Objet Buzz presents a sneak preview of some of the many exceptional objects available at the show.
Ophir
Three-time AVENUE Shows exhibitor Ophir Gallery specializes in important works by Tiffany Studios and Art Nouveau objects by American and European masters of the early twentieth Century. Among Ophir's collection will be this extremely rare patinated bronze Tiffany Studios leaded stained glass "Belted Turtleback Tile" table lamp (circa 1905). Ophir Gallery will be unveiling this amazing find along with three other important Tiffany Studios table lamps never before offered in the market place.
John Atzbach Antiques
John Atzbach, a specialist in Imperial Russian antiques and art, returns for his third AVENUE Show. John's selection will include this silver gilt and shaded champlevé enamel sugar container, made by Ivan Khlebnikov, Moscow, 1896-1908.
John Jaffa Antiques
Welcome back John Jaffa for his third AVENUE Show. Specializing in Antique English and Continental enamels, god boxes and objects of Vertu, John's selection will include this circa 1899 Fabergé cigarette case by workmaster August Hollming.
The Spare Room
A warm welcome to four-time AVENUE Show exhibitors Jacqueline Smelkinson and Marcia Moylan. Moylan-Smelkinson Antiques/The Spare Room deals in Georgian and Victorian jewelry, eighteenth and nineteenth century English ceramics in Japan Patterns, whimsical figural collectibles and decorative objects including this circa 1790 English, Worcester Flight & Bar period Porcelain Dessert Dish in Clematis Pattern.
Waldmann Van Lennep
A warm welcome to Waldmann Van Lennep, who joins us for the first time. Specializing in rare pieces including jewelry, objects, furniture and art from the mid-19th century to present day, their selection will include this Iberian circa 1930 bronze sculpture signed A. Fernandes.
Marion Harris
Marion Harris, who specializes in curious, beautiful and unusual objects for collectors, designers, and dreamers, joins us for her fourth AVENUE Show. These 19th century miniature artist figures are among Marion's collection of antique mannequins, which range in scale from 7 inches to life-size.
